The ability to work with academic documents is touted by a number of proofreading and editing agencies. However, not everyone is qualified to undertake such work because working with academic documentation is a skill that only comes with substantial practice. I have 10 years experience of working in an academic environment; 3 degrees in the humanities and social sciences; substantial experience of academic conventions, including MLA, Harvard, Chicago and APA; and an understanding of what level of English your tutors are seeking. 

I understand that your work is very important and will work with you to polish your linguistic expression, producing a document that you are proud to submit. I am conscientious and professional, but also friendly enough to encourage a positive working relationship.
