 Writing

If you can think up the idea, I am happy to write it down for you.  I am flexible enough to enjoy working on pretty much anything word related, from brochures and advertising material to reports, web copy and blogs.  My experience in both business and academia is also a boon in producing well structured and written CVs and application letters. I am available to undertake commissions from both individuals and organisations.

As well as producing a wealth of marketing material for my own businesses (which, over the years, have included events management, freelance writing, editing/proofreading, holistic therapies) I also have a passion for a good story. 

My articles have been featured in publications as diverse as The Massage and Bodywork Magazine (US), The European Entrepreneurs' Journal, British Patchwork and Quilting, Journeywoman, Positive Health, Mary Jane's Farm (US) and Writer's Forum, among others. My short stories have won competitions run by the NSPCC and Quarterly Women's Fiction.  A number of my book reviews have been published in academic journals and an abridged version of my MA thesis was a winner in the Women's Network Prize essay competition. I am currently working on a novel and collaborating on a non-fiction (business) book.
